Highlights from Nexus 2024

Nexus 2024, the hallmark event by the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), epitomized the future of virtual care. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Phoenix, AZ from May 5-7, this event promised an unparalleled experience with a rich program designed to educate and inspire. Attendees enjoyed in-depth sessions on crucial virtual care topics, over 80 dynamic oral and poster research presentations, each offering Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities, and speakers who represented every corner of the industry.

This year introduced the Telehealth 101 Bootcamp, a novel feature catering to both newcomers and seasoned professionals eager to deepen their understanding of virtual care. The conference also debuted the System Spotlights, showcasing pioneering strategies from leading hospital systems. For a more interactive experience, the Curbside Consult sessions provided a platform for lively exchanges with clinicians and industry experts.

The Telehealth Innovators Challenge was another highlight, spotlighting groundbreaking solutions in a competitive live pitch environment. Additionally, Nexus offered a new Meet the Experts lounge for one-on-one interactions, and an Insights Workshop on Virtual Nursing, among other engaging activities. With over 300 speakers and a diverse array of sponsors and exhibitors, Nexus 2024 stood as a pivotal gathering for advancing the scope and impact of virtual care.
