Light Rail & Directions from Airport

The Valley Metro Light Rail offers a convenient 18–22 hour service, seven days a week, with stops every 12–20 minutes along its 28-mile stretch. Notably, there’s a dedicated stop at the Phoenix Convention Center.

For those arriving from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport: take the free PHX Sky Train from Level 3 of Terminal 4 to the 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. From there, take the elevator or escalator down to the platform of the 44th St/Washington Valley Metro Rail stop. If you are traveling from Terminals 2 or 3, take the free black and silver PHX Airport Shuttle to Terminal 4 and then proceed to Level 3 to connect with the PHX Sky Train. The PHX Sky Train and Airport shuttles are designed for travelers with luggage and run seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Beyond the light rail, Phoenix offers other public transit options like the Phoenix Transit Bus and Phoenix Dial-a-Ride. For comprehensive details on these services, including operational hours and contact information, click here.

Rideshare

The Phoenix Convention Center provides a convenient spot for rideshare drop-off and pick-up. The Rideshare Zone is on 3rd Street, north of Washington Street. Rideshare companies have mapped out the Convention Center, and the various apps should send you to a convenient, safe spot when you’re coming or going.
